Chris has the boys in Miami. They will get some food and a little sleep only to be back at the airport at 4am to wait on the Standby list. The money supply is low and all of the flights are full. So pray that they can get food and rest and not have to wait too long for a flight home to Charlotte.
Thanks to everyone that has been fervently praying for this process. Please continue to pray for their health and safety.
For those of you out there that may be wondering how our little boy are doing....Here are my random thoughts. There has been so much going on this week, I've had a hard time making contact with everyone.
When we knew children were going to leave Haiti, we were praying the location would be close. Then we were told by our agency that the children would be flown to Utah, however in prayer, we felt like God was saying it would be Miami. Chris left for Utah, Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon before Chris’ plane landed in Utah, we were informed that indeed, the children would be landing in Miami.
Children landed in Miami last night. Spent the night in shelter.
Chris left Utah this morning and will land (hopefully) in Miami at 3:15 today.
Their group, those adopting from Hope for Little Angels of Haiti, will go straight to the shelter.
Visiting hours with the children end at 5:00. So hopefully they will get there in time to see the children before visiting hours end.
Praying that our paper work for the children is already in process and that they would release the children tonight.
Will let you know when Chris is expected to land in Charlotte.
Phone Interview (with video) with Jason Taylor of Utah Hospital Task Force in Miami explaining the problems that have come up while trying to bring these babies home.
We made a committment to the parents back in Utah, that we were'nt going to leave this country without their children.
